Gel your wet hair, part it on the side with a rat-tail comb in a zig-zag part, and comb it into a low ponytail. When you're pulling the ponytail through the rubberband the final time, just go half-way so that you have a "knot". Spike out the free ends of the ponytail (almost like a fan). Phoebe on "Friends" always did that and it looked cute, so I tried it. Now when I wake up late, I do the Phoebe. Looks great with dangly earrings, too. (My hair is super-thin and wavy, shoulder-length, too.)

u could pull ur hair into a half ponytail nd make it a half bun. or just pull it up in to a pony tail.
