ok there is a technique you can use with a flat brush and a blow dryer. you take as much hair as you want with the brush, then put the blower on HOT. Slowly move the brush and the dryer down your hair. It has about a 50/50 percent success rate. I do it sometimes. And for school, try a messy up do, it really just a messy ponytail.

well when i blow-dry my hair, it makes it frizzy. the straightener makes it look 10x better.
sometimes when i dont feel like straightening all of my hair (i have a lot of hair) i seperate it into halves (like putting it half-up half-down) and put it in a bun. that way you only have to straighten the part thats down and nobody will be able to tell that you only did it halfway!
another thing i like to do is wear hats. i have naturally curly hair, and it looks bad if i just leave it down, so i put a hat on! of course most schools dont allow hats, so only outside of school.
if you have curly or wavy hair, and it looks bad just natural and plain, try putting a bit of gel in it. it makes curls come out and it looks really good.
