I'm a freshman in highschool and many of the girls with straight hair do the "poof hairstyle"- straight or scrunched.

you can do this by taking you bangs, or the front part of your hair and combing it back on the top of your head. secure it with either bobby pins or a tiny clip.

I also think scrunching your hair is reallyyy cute. Take a shower at night and add a little moose into your hair before tightly securing your hair into a messy bun on the top of your head. sleep like that and in the morning let it down and you should have natural waves :D

straighten it and then make that bump on ur hair. i love that. or just scrunch it. use mousse and start scrunching and then hairspray to make it hold.

so you caould scrunch it for that wavy effect or u could braid 2 *lightly* braided. you could also pin back your bangs=)
