I have the exact same problem. Its platinum blonde, thick and wavy. And natural. I wash my hair, and blowdry is on cold on a really low level, and comb it the entire time, if you do it right, it should take awhile, it ill come out straight, and hten i get my inch a half CERAMIC curling iron, and curl little sections at a time, and hold it there for about 15-20 seconds.

then.. BEDHEAD hairspray! or if thats not in your budget, or too hard to find, try pantene ice shine

Do little pieces of hair at a time.

Sure it will take a little longer that doing it all at the same time but it will look awesome!!

first i would suggest u to go to the hair salon and get a relaxer then if they put curls in your hair have them put extra spritz on it so that'll hold dem. my extra thick too, i dont even get curls cuz they never last pass that night,lol good luck!

Put it up wet in rollers the night before and let it dry overnight. Thermal curls (like hot rollers or curling irons) don't last long. But give yourself a wet set like this and your curls will last until the next time you shampoo.

first put a frizz product in it, then heat up a curling iron, and before you curl each peice, spray hairspray in it, and do the same thing after.
